Gerald Allen is a Senior Pastor of Oasis International Ministries in Eastpointe Michigan.  His ministry has Indelible impression upon Detroiters as a powerful, prolific, dynamic, miraculous preacher that carries an unusual measure of signs and wonders however, Detroiters did not know as well as Apostle Gerald Allen that a musical gift will emerge out of a crucible of challenges that urban church culture would present to a founding and creation of Oasis international Church. One of the most challenging undertakings were music ministry, aesthetes requires monetary compensation for skilled musicians, for the reasons of modest contribution the church could not financially hold or keep musicians, at times the Church would play worship CD’s in (karaoke); this form of worship was not adequate enough for Pastor Gerald Allen, for he thirsted for God to move in worship in a great way.  Pastor Gerald Allen desired to have an encounter with God through praise and worship, this moved him to play the piano without any intelligent sounds, his collaboration of confusion was so terrible that music store manager walked over to the keyboard room and turned the keyboard volume down but, Pastor Allen persisted without any formal training out weighing the criticisms of many folks. 

 

  Pastor Gerald Allen’s passion to see God in the music, touched the heart of the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven; one early morning he was awakened by a thunderous sound and when he opened his eyes he saw an Angel descending from heaven with appearance of lighting.  When he looked upon him, Pastor Gerald Allen fell into a vision and in this vision, he saw himself playing the piano and singing songs that he never heard before.  As he was playing these songs, the anointing intensified to the point that it snapped him out of the vision and when he opened his eyes, the Angel of the Lord disappeared.  After this powerful experience, Pastor Gerald Allen began putting chords together and then chord progression, his talents exponentially evolved within a short period of time, he was playing the piano and singing. However, God in his infamous wisdom did not allow the church to be able to afford a musician on payroll until Gerald Allen comes to full maturity of his musical talents therefore; Pastor Gerald Allen would lead praise and worship with songs that the world has never heard before.  NOW, it’s complete; “Encounter” is here!  

 

  The song entitled “Rain” was birthed out of the need to see God in the worship, it has been experienced at Oasis international Church that worship can be so powerful that Shekinah glory would manifest in the sanctuary through healing, deliverance and miracles.  The song entitled “Lord my Help” was birthed out of tribulation of being forsaken by people that wanted to see him destroyed but, God who is our hero delivered Pastor Gerald Allen many times from forces that was not friendly.
